Nicole Schmitz Leadership Coaching: Finalist - 2022 Australian Small Business Champion Awards

Updated: Jun 3, 2023

I've got some exciting news to share!

After lengthy selection criteria and competing against 3,500+ quality entries, I've been named a Finalist for the 2022 Australian Small Business Champion Awards!

What an honour to be considered for this prestigious, nationally recognised award.

Looking back, I couldn't have predicted the beautiful silver linings that would emerge out of the tumultuous global pandemic that started in 2020.

I was at a crossroads and presented with a life-altering opportunity - do I continue on in the corporate world, doing what I've always done, feeling 'ok', but that something was missing? OR, do I finally take that crazy leap that I've been yearning to do for 5 years, step into my power, and start my own leadership coaching business?

I remember feeling the gravity of my impending decision and how it would change the course of my life forever.

I can tell you, it was single-handedly the BEST decision I've ever made.

Yes, it was scary.

Yes, it was tough.

But was it all worth it? 110%.

Would I do it all over again? In a heartbeat.

I felt so elated hearing the good news over the phone, as each entrepreneur and small business owner would understand the hard work, sweat, and tears that go into translating your dreams and passions into a sustainable, flourishing, value-adding business that helps to change the lives of countless people around the world.

This token of positive recognition really means the world!

I want to thank you all for your continued support as I soldier on with my moon shot mission of helping 20,000 people by 2030 to find their Leadership X-Factor - which is to think, speak, and connect like highly charismatic, influential thought leaders, to get ahead in their careers and lives. 🙏🏻

What a fantastic achievement, especially after competing with thousands of other entries. I really like the honesty behind Nicole’s story too — sometimes the biggest career changes begin with simply admitting that something no longer feels right. Taking that leap into coaching clearly paid off, and becoming a finalist is a great recognition of the work behind it. For a little downtime after all that ambition, I’d probably switch gears and browse something like https://paripesas.net/.
